BRIGHTON WAY (822C)
Brighton Way
TET -38 -MLa - 6"
spacerA very ruffled bright lemon yellow coloured flower above a bright green throat. Ext.; Sev.; 3 way branching; bud count 25-30; Reg. 2009 (LACY SILHOUETTE X GREAT WHITE) I have always felt that John Yonski's LACY SILHOUETTE was one of the top 3 or 4 yellow daylilies that I have grown. Combining its great plant habit, branching and bud count with Pat Stamile's GREAT WHITE was a no brainer. The cross resulted in many very good full siblings, but BRIGHTON WAY stood out as the best of the lot. I would call BRIGHTON WAY a horsey plant, big and bold. Its scapes are very thick and well branched. Add to that a bright clear lemon-yellow flower and you have something that will show off in the garden. I feel yellow is the backbone of any garden and shows off exceptionally well. Fertile both ways.
