One of the first crosses we made on EYEPOD was with a full sibling to our intro LADY GILLIAN. Where LADY GILLIAN has a rose-pink eye the full sibling we crossed with EYEPOD was a dark black-eyed select seedling. Out of this cross several seedlings were kept for further evaluation and CANDY BANDIT is one of the best of these selected seedlings. Its cream-white base colour sets off the bright red eye and edge it displays in the garden. It has also inherited EYEPOD's instant re-bloom habit, enabling it to flower over a long bloom season. One of our finest performing introductions and it extends our instant re-bloom hybridizing program. Easily fertile both ways.
