Ext; 3-4 way branching; bud count 20+; Reg. 2012 ((FOX POINT X (FOOLED ME x STRAWBERRY LACE)) A tall growing daylily that stands out in the garden displaying many flowers open at once. Our most heavily coloured red edge intro to date and one we have been using a lot in our hybridzing program to impart that heavy ruffled red edge into its offspring. From FOX POINT as a pod parent which is one we have always thought was one of our finest intros from a performance perspective of our earlier introductions. FOX POINT has passed on its great plant habit and combines the fancy edge coming from its pollen parent. CHERRY FRINGE performs very consistently out in the garden and the flowers it produces are also very consistent showing off the great heavy ruffled red edge. So many of these heavy coloured red edges need heat and humidity to show that off. CHERRY FRINGE does not and displays its edge even in cooler weather. Fertile both ways.
