TET - 32" - MLa - 5"  Mauve with a large deep royal purple eye above a very deep green throat. The ruffled petals are edged with purple and then cream. Ext.; Sev.; 3 way branching; bud count 20+. Reg. 2006. (ELEGANT CANDY X GREAT EXPRESSION) Selected as the only ones kept from a long cross of these two parents were CHERRY LANE and its full sib MULBERRY WAY. Very similar in plant habit but quite different in flower colour. Where MULBERRY WAY shows a lighter colouration
in the flower, CHERRY LANE'S colours are much bolder and darker. The flowers are displayed on an excellent tall scape that is well branched and budded. The plant is a very healthy grower that shows very little foliage damage and bounces back from dividing exceptionally well. When CHERRY LANE is in full bloom the bold clear coloured flowers just attract your attention in the garden. One of my favourites. Used as a major parent in my hybridizing program along with its full sib MULBERRY WAY. Very fertile both ways.PRICE: $25.00 (DF)
