TET-38"- MLa - 6"  A lavender-mauve with a clear bright purple eye with veining in the throat of the flower. Ext.; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 20; Reg 2014 (MULAN X CARNIVAL IN MEXICO). I have been working on patterned eyes for some time and this select seedling has stood out in that endeavour with its bold bright colouring. Named after Barbara and Nick White's son David. Both his parents felt this was a fitting tribute to their beloved son. An extremely vigorous and showy daylily in the garden and one that most certainly draws your attention. The year it was selected as a future introduction in its second year of flowering Barbara White felt this was one of our finest selections for that year. It has continued to attract the attention of garden visitors over the last few years and we have been using it as a major parent in our patterned eyed program. Fertile both ways.
