Ext; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 20; Reg. 2012 (YUKON SPRING X TAE KWON DO) I was asked by some dear friends to name a daylily in memory of one of their daughters who recently lost her fight with cancer. A wonderful mother, daughter and one who loved the colour yellow. KELLY LEE'S father picked out her namesake as a tribute to his daughter as it was probably the best and fanciest yellows we had in the select seedling beds. This daylily is a bright lemon-yellow with very heavy ruffling and a deep green throat. KELLY LEE stands out in the garden as one of those yellows that wants to be noticed. From two of the finest yellows on the market in my opinion, their combining produced this intro. A daylily that bounces back from division easily and forms a clump in no time. Also it blooms a bit earlier than many of my intros. We do not have a lot of this intro because the family wanted a number of the fans we had, therefore if you wish to purchase this one, order early or we could be sold out. Fertile both ways.
