TET-34"- MLa - 6"  A ruffled bright lavender-mauve flower with a large green throat. Ext.; Sev.; 4-way branching; bud count 25+; Reg. 2016, (Christian Fletcher X Melanie's Smile). This daylily is named after one of daylilies finest ambassadors and one of the founding members of the Ontario Daylily Society. Maureen is also very active in the governing body of daylilies worldwide through the AHS. This daylily was a standout as a first year blooming seedling with exceptional bud count and branching. After dividing it into single fans it bounced back the next year so impressively you would never have known it had been divided. I stressed the plant just after it had been divided by plastering it with pods two years in a row and observed no adverse effects on the performance of the plant. And to top it all off MAUREEN STRONG is producing some striking offspring. Easily fertile both ways.
