MULAN'S foliage habit acts more in the semi to dormant range versus LORD TRICKSTER'S foliage habit of semi to evergreen. Also MULAN differs from its full sib in the fact that the flower colour has been very consistent no matter what type of soil it has been planted in. The plant is vigorous and healthy with tall, well branched scapes that display the flowers it produces very well in the garden. Easily fertile both ways, producing very large quantities of good germinating seeds. Takes stress in stride and performs as an outstanding garden plant each year.
