SNOWBROOKE (350A)
Snowbrooke
TET - 24" - MLa - 6"
spacerDiamond dusted, white daylily with a big green throat. Ext.; Ev.; 2-3 way branching; bud count 12-15. Reg. 2007 (WHITE CRINOLINE X QUALITY OF MERCY) SNOWBROOKE was produced many years ago and has been a mainstay in our hybridizing program as a breeder. I distributed it to a few friends and they have been encouraging me to introduce it. It puts on quite a nice display in the garden with its numerous very large, pure white flowers. The main reason I have not released it before now is the evergreen plant habit. SNOWBROOKE has been very hardy over many varied winters in our zone 5 climatic area at the farm. However it does show a bit of mushy foliage in the spring when it first starts to grow and the weather starts to warm up. It has always vigorously bounced back from the winter and shown great healthy foliage during the growing season but I thought I should mention this early spring habit. Therefore for those people in a much colder zone than zone five I would caution you in purchasing this daylily or if you do, please plant in a protected area. Since good healthy vigorous performing whites are not available in many numbers here in the north we felt this daylily had a lot to offer a hybridizing program. It has some different genes than most of the whites on the market today. Fertile both ways.
Price: $25.00 (DF)
