TET - 31 - MLa - 6"  A ruffled bright florescent orange-gold with a green throat. Ext.; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 15-20; Reg 2009 ((AESOP'S FABLES X (KUNDUN x COUNCIL FIRE)) I was approached by a good friend Melodye Campbell to name a daylily in tribute to her father. Her father loved bold and bright colours and she felt this daylily was one he would have really liked. Melodye and her family picked this name because her father had worked for the Internal Revenue Department. TAX MAN BILL the daylily has been one that many people who have seen it growing at the farm have been attracted to. The bold bright clear orange-gold colour really just stands out in the garden. There are not many daylilies that show this boldness of colour in the garden. It combines the best of the Roy Woodhall orange breeding program with one of my best breeding orange seedlings out of my KUNDUN line. The KUNDUN line has been instrumental in my interest in bright hot coloured daylilies and this seedling is one of the better ones I have been fortunate to have produced. You will most certainly notice this one flowering in the garden. Not only do you have a great coloured daylily but it has under it a vigorous, healthy good performing plant. Fertile both ways.
