A bright coloured purple with a large whitish to deep green throat and very ruffled gold edge. Dor., 4 to 5-way branching, bud count 18, Reg. 2025 (David Mussar x Royal Invitation). One of our finest breeding plants and a great colour clarifier when used in hybridizing. Some of our finest select 1st year blooming seedlings have Regal Crown as one of its parents. The very large whitish-green throat has a major impact job of clarifying colour on what you use with it. Fertile both ways.
